Improving Maternal Health in Rural Afghanistan

In a remote village in Afghanistan, access to maternal healthcare was severely limited, leading to high rates of maternal and infant mortality. Our NGO introduced a mobile clinic specifically for maternal health services, equipped with trained midwives and essential medical supplies. Over the past year, the mobile clinic has successfully delivered over 300 babies and provided prenatal and postnatal care to hundreds of mothers. One mother, Amina, who previously lacked access to medical care, was able to receive critical prenatal check-ups through the mobile clinic. Thanks to this service, Amina delivered a healthy baby and is now an advocate for maternal health in her community. This success story reflects our commitment to reducing maternal mortality and improving healthcare access in underserved areas.
